Bio

Born in Boston in the usual way, on December 11, 1981.

Takes up trumpet in grade school and gets exposed to rap by friend from the projects.

Brookline High School - days of rapping in the halls, rapping on the street, rapping at parties, talent shows, open mics… Rapping everywhere.

First show at the House of Blues in Cambridge, MA.

On to Clark University - major in French. French? Yes, French - and U.S. History, with a concentration in rap.

Performs on campus with Toots and the Maytals, Heather B, The Last Poets, and multiple solo gigs.

Graduation and a job in France - teaching English.

Hooks up with some Hasidic Jews (Chabad) and likes their way of life. Goodbye gangsta rap, hello hasidic rap - rap with a positive new message.

Performs at multiple night clubs and other venues throughout France.

Back to the States - odd jobs, gigs in Boston, New York, Florida, Texas.

Meets Matisyahu by “chance” in Boston. Raps for him on the street corner. “Hey,” he says, “Nosson, you’re good!”

More and more gigs. Performs with Matisyahu for the first time at Avalon, in Boston and then at South Paw in Brooklyn.

Goes Hollywood! Flown out to LA to play lead in “Song of David,” movie about – what else? A serious Jewish rapper.

Wins “Best Actor Award” at Boston International Film Festival.

Completes first EP – “The Return”. Joins Matisyahu for a 35 city tour of US and Canada.

Invited by Matisyahu to perform at his 8-show Festival of Light in NYC.

Starts work on full album.
